I am an assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Informatics (Department of Internal Medicine) at the University of Kentucky (UKY). I also hold a courtesy appointment in the Computer Science Department. Earlier, I was a postdoctoral research scientist in the Knoesis Center at
Wright State University. As a postdoc, I co-lead the human performance and cognition ontology (HPCO) project with my supervisor Amit Sheth. I graduated with a Ph.D in computer science from UKY in 2009 and was advised by Andrew Klapper
for my doctoral studies. My dissertation is on the analysis of sequence security measures in the context of stream ciphers.
I obtained an M.S in computer science from WKU in 2004 and a B.Tech in computer science and engineering from JNTU in 2002.
